At The Dentist, we work with the teeth whitening professionals at Enlighten® Evolution to help bring our patients whiter, brighter, happier smiles.
Enlighten® Evolution is a combination teeth-whitening treatment which uses a home-based treatment followed up with an in-chair treatment to help produce brighter results.
How does the treatment work?
If, after assessing your suitability for teeth whitening treatment, you decide to go ahead with Enlighten® Evolution, we will fit you for your teeth whitening trays here at the practice. Once the trays have been made, you will be able to wear them at home for the next two weeks.
With Enlighten® Evolution you can whiten your teeth either during the day or overnight – whichever fits in with your lifestyle more easily. Their formula is designed to get to work within two weeks, regardless of when you wear your trays, but you will need to wear them for a minimum of 6 hours a day in order to achieve the results you’re looking for.
When the two weeks are up, you’ll return to the practice, where we’ll apply the Enlighten® Evolution finishing treatment. This is an in-chair treatment that cannot be used at home.
How much whiter will my teeth be after the treatment?
Enlighten® Evolution is one of the most trusted names in teeth whitening and has a B1 shade guarantee. Many people achieve even brighter results than this! We have found that our patients who use Enlighten® Evolution are very happy with the results, and many users of this treatment report teeth that are up to 16 shades brighter.
How long do the results last?
This will depend on the patient and is affected by such things as lifestyle and diet, as well as genetics. Your results should last forever, but you will need to top up your whitening every so often to maintain the same level of brightness. When you feel you need to, you can contact us here at the practice to arrange for a top-up.
